Castaway

In class we were given a demonstration on casting.  I decided that my next project would incorporate this skill and this is what I came up with. I always loved looking through my Mum’s button box when I was little, and really enjoyed sorting through my button box for this project. I particularly looked for buttons with patterns or decorative edges. I’m really pleased to have received quite a few compliments when I wear this necklace … one lady wanted to know where I’d bought it.
